Total Number of Applications Received

  • The total number of all permit applications received indicates the volume of work required by staff for initial review and processing.

Total Number of Permits Issued

  • The total number of building permits issued indicates the amount of work allowed to occur in any given time period.

Total Number of Inspections Performed

  • The total number of inspections completed indicates the progression of projects and efficiency of building inspectors.

Value of Projects Constructed

  • The value of projects constructed is a key measure that indicates the amount of investment in a municipality. It is calculated by adding all of the estimated costs of construction values on building permits in a given time frame.

Total Permit Revenue

  • The total permit revenue aggregates the dollar amount a municipality brings in from all building permits.
